Our Mission
Our communities are much safer when the people in them are connected to one another. At United for a New Denver, we provide a space to do just that: bring people together and get them thinking -- and talking -- about the wide range of issues that the diverse populations of people in our neighborhoods face every day.
From immigrant and reproductive rights to housing and food insecurity -- and much more -- we engage our community in a wide range of immersive educational programming that brings people together and inspires collective discussion. But it's not enough to simply understand the world around us; if we want to change our communities for the better, we have to do something about these issues. That's why we partner with non-profit organizations doing work across the spectrum of social justice issues to give our participants a chance to put their knowledge into action.

Immigrant Rights
Immigrants are facing dangerous conditions in our city every day. Everyone deserve to live safe and dignified lives in the place they call home, no matter where they were born.
Over 35% of Denverites regularly skip meals in order to pay their bills. Every person in Denver deserves access to quality affordable and healthy food.
Food Security
Housing Justice
The systemic barriers that prevent people from achieving long-term housing stability are numerous. Every person in Denver deserves access to secure, stable and affordable housing.

Health Equity
Health care is extremely expensive, and many people in our city simply cannot afford it. Access to quality health care should not be a privilege; it is a human right.
